Top 5 tracks of 2010

2010 has been an incredible year for music, especially for the whole ‘post dubstep’ scene. I’m not so hot with words so I’ll leave the reviewing to the experts Stand out players for me have been the whole Young Turks crew, especially the The XX who have smashed this year off the back of 15 tracks (allowing a few covers/remixes), everyone involved with The Boiler Room for bringing so many great acts to our web-waves. Forest Swords and How To Dress Well for their low-fi moody R&B for boys, Rhianna for been the hottest thing in music and all the under 25 bedroom producers coming out of London who are changing the music game forever. Below are 5 tracks I feel have made the most impact and been the most important sounds of 2010.

Four Tet – Angel Echoes

Jai Paul – BTSTU

Mount Kimbie – Field

James Blake – Limit To Your Love

Gil Scott Heron/Jamie XX – New York Is Killing Me
